The Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Telugu action thriller Kingdom started its theatrical run in the US on 30 July with some good numbers. According to the producers, Sithara Entertainments, the Kingdom opened to the tune of over $650,000 (about Rs 5.42 crore) on its very first day of North American release.

Sithara Entertainments gave a social media update stating that the US premieres are doing exceptionally well and the movie is garnering huge responses. They have not shared details about which cities earned the most money yet, but if the reports are to be believed, this is one of the better overseas openings for a Telugu film this year.

Kingdom is a highly anticipated film by fans and the audience. Vijay Deverakonda has been promoting the film extensively and the producers had great expectations for its success. Early reviews from viewers spoke highly of the action sequences, the music, and the cameo by renowned actor Nani. However, some were disappointed with the storyline and the acting of certain other actors.
